Zdravím, hodně lidí dělá se hrou Mafia 1 různé švindle, modifikace, auta... Prostě je to hra, která se dá docela dobře poupravit k obrazu svému.
A tak mě napadlo, šlo by do této hry kromě módů a jiných věcí nějak vložit toto video, popř. toto? Místo cutscény... Nějak ho převést do nějakého speciálního kodeku/formátu, ve kterém jsou nahrány normální cutscény v Mafii 1? je to vůbec reálné?

No to já právě nevím. Třeba to tu někdo, kdo dělá modifikace do Mafie 1 může vědět. :)

Podle mě jsou skoro všechny cutscény v Mafii 1 v enginu hry. Není to jen video...

I v různých modifikacích mají autoři cutscény. Jde jen o kameru a o animace.

Nesmysl

Nesmysl to neni pouze v pripade, kdyz mas od majitele autorskych prav pisemne povoleni provadet zmeny v programovem kodu.

Pokud ho nemas, je to trestny cin, at je to zasah do grafiky, do zvuku, do titulku nebo do programoveho kodu (treba crackovani). Obrovska spousta fandovskych prekladu nebo modifikaci her treba skoncila na tom, ze to proste majitel prav zakazal. Dokonce bych si dovolil tvrdit ze vetsina jich je dokoncena jen proto, ze se majitel prav neozval, primo povoleni jich bude mit jen par.

Ostatne je to napsane i v EULA primo u hry.

petr22: Myslím, že to bereš až moc vážně. Lidi z Illusion Softworks naopak zájem o hru vítali - dokonce uskutečnili i jeden vtípek
(kauza kasino), který se ale moc nevyvedl. Tím trestným činem by muselo být i tohle video nebo tato maturitní práce.
