Upgrade notebooku

Zdravím,
Poslední dobou mě trápí taková myšlenka - lze upgradovat starší notebook na trochu vyšší výkon? Vlastním už poměrně stařičký notebook Acer Travelmate 7730, konfigurace zhruba viz:
Původní myšlenkou bylo, že počítač v brzké době vyřadím a pořídím novější. Nicméně po upgradu na WIN10 a určitém znatelném posunu v rychlosti stroje mě začíná nahlodávat červíček, zdali je to opravdu nutné, kor když počítač bez problému funguje - dokonce i v provozu na původní baterii :)
Co mě především nejvíc trápí, je velikost RAM - v době pořízení poměrně standardní 3GB se po zapnutí Matlabu beznadějně zaplní a počítač má co dělat sám se sebou. Hledal jsem tedy a došel ke zjištění, že se dělají maximálně 2x2GB moduly, protože počítač víc nevezme. Nicméně při dalším hledání jsem se dostal na stránku, kde se toto řešilo a někteří údajně do počítače dostali kýžených 8 GB RAM a celkově ho poměrně povznesli, viz:
Dokonce se zde objevil i odkaz na e-shop, kde se dají moduly pořídit:
Nicméně jeden z příspěvků taktéž popisuje nemilou zkušenost, že po pokusu o vložení DDR3 pamětí se objevil problém s piny na modulu a na desce - 200 a 204 pinů (což možná není problém výše zmíněného - DDR2 200 pinů.. možná?).
Zajímalo by mě především - mám tu možnost upgradu? Bohužel se v tom tolik nevyznám, abych dokázal postihnout výše zmíněné, takže bych asi přidal akorát výpis z CPU-Z (úplně dole, mírně zkrácený). Našel by někdo, zdali jde/nejde?
Úplně stejně by se asi dalo uvažovat i o CPU, dokázal by z výpisu někdo určit, co tam lze umístit lepšího? Samozřejmě počítám, že bych asi mohl narážet na limity chlazení, ale přesto - malá změna taky změna.
K veškerým takovým změnám se ale váže jedna věc - co na to OS? Mám v počítači OEM verzi Win7Pro - upgradovaný na WIN10. Jak je mi známo, OEM verze jsou nějak spjaty s daným počítačem. Jednalo by se stále o ten samý počítač, pokud bych byl opravdu radikálni a provedl upgrade RAM, CPU, případně i dodání Flash paměti namísto HDD? Anebo se toto hardwaru nijak netýká?
To je asi vše, snad jsem dotazy příliš nezahltil.
