Windows 10 Not Booting to Windows

Hello all,

I have a Dell Inspiron 3847 desktop computer. The computer is no longer booting to Windows. Prior to that the computer was running normally and was shutdown correctly. Now once the computer is powered on the screen displays "Dell" and does not boot to Windows. I called Dell tech support and the technician said based on the symptoms it is a hardware issue. Based on experience with prior desktops I'm not convinced of that. The computer is over 4 1/2 years old. Your thoughts please.
