HDD na starou ZD

Dobrý den,
ve starém pc odešel HDD koupil jsem tento https://www.alza.cz/seagate-barracuda-7 ... 283656.htm ale nějak ho bios nevidí. Když přepnu v bios na IDE tak disk vidět je ale má kapacitu 33mb.

Poradíte prosím.

SATA III disk se nema moc rad se SATA I rozhranim.

Je potreba na disku jumperem natvrdo nastavit SATA I.

Jak jsem se dočetl tak u tohoto disku už to nejde.

Někde na stránkách seagate psali tam že je to možné u 7200.11 a 12. Já mám 14

Some older computer motherboards are unable to support modern Serial ATA drives.

If your motherboard only supports SATA1 (1.5 Gbits/sec transfer rate) and you are installing a SATA2 (3.0 Gbits/sec) or SATA3 (6.0 Gbits/sec) drive, the motherboard may not detect the drive. There are four options in that case:
•Obtain an add-on controller card that can support more modern drives and connect the drive to that card.
•(For Barracuda 7200.11 drives and older, as well as certain Barracuda 7200.12 models) You can place a jumper on the drive to slow it down to 1.5 Gbits/sec, so older motherboards can support it.
•Use an older drive.
•Update your computer equipment or obtain a newer computer.

Please make sure if your computer does support SATA2 (3.0 Gbits/sec) drives at least.

A proč nepoužiješ jumper podle návodu?

Protoze tam neni.

Takze jedina moznost je SATA radic do PCI-E nebo PCI slotu nebo to cele venovat detem na hrani na piskoviste.

Prwecti si datasheet k tehle revizi - neni v nem jedina zminka o moznosti nastaveni rezimu SATA 1 jumperem, u predchozi revize je.

Predpokladam ostatne ze tam ten jumper zkousel dat.

Ty 4 piny jsou na vsech Seagate discich a standardne funguji jako seriove rozhran pro komunikaci s diskem.

A adapter ide na sata by nefungoval?

Ten by fungovat mohl, pokud obsahuje chip ktery umi automaticky nastavit komunikacni rychlost (coz je duvod proc ten disk nechodi nativne - nedomluvi se to automaticky).
